2020 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S: technical specs and price comparison

Porsche has revealed one of its newest and most impressive vehicles of the 992 lineup. It is the 911 Carrera 4S which is a car worth the time spent on checking out its technical specifications and price comparison with its direct market competitors. The 4S has some strong German competitors such as the BMW M850i, Mercedes-AMG GT and Audi R8.

The 911 Carrera 4S uses a 3.0L 6-cyl in-line engine which has been twin-turbocharged. In comparison with the previous generation, the 2020 series have incorporated larger turbos with new electric wastegates, new injectors and some other tweaks to achieve the performance shown below.

The 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission hugs this power and brings it to all four wheels under the shy price that the driver has to pay for the fuel consumption below.

The base price of the Carrera 4S is $120,500 in the States. It has a wide range of additional tweaking options for the model and thus it is possible to get a pretty amazing piece of Porsche for the estimated price of $145,000. In comparison with the other three big German manufacturers, Porsche comes in second place where only the BMW M850i has a lower starting price. The other two competitors: Mercedes-AMG GT and Audi R8 are more expensive. Finally, bearing in mind the history of Porsche, the performance and fuel consumption of the Carrera 4S as well as its looks, we truly believe that it is a great engineering product which is worth its price.
