Bentley is ready and in shape with its newest edition for the 2021 lineup of SUVs. The Bentayga is about to go into production and its design impresses very much - both from the inside and the outside. Starting from the exterior, there are changes and improvements in every aspect.

Looking at its side profile, there is an exclusive new wheel shape that is only available on this Bentley model. On top of the front wheel, there is a brand-new “flying bee” vent for improving the cooling of the engine bay.

The front hosts the changes which are easiest to spot and recognize. The grill is bigger, and it’s positioned slightly higher. There are new, intelligent LED matrix headlights, inspired by cut crystal glassware. The fog light housing is now more like a square rather than the 1st generation’s oval shape.

Looking at the Bentayga from behind, there is a new rear wing on top of the window and the whole new center section is newly designed. The new elliptical lights are replacing the b-shaped lights from the previous generation. Overall, the back of the SUV starts looking more like the Flying Spur and Continental GT which helps bringing all the Bentley models closer to each other design-wise.

Stepping inside, the first feature to notice is the 10.3-inch infotainment screen on the central console. Android auto is available as well as wireless car play. The is also more legroom from the passengers at the back. Bentley claims that it is even more spacious than the long wheelbase Range Rover.

Auto Trendy’s take:

It is good to see how the Bentleys get closer and closer to each other in their design, evolving and becoming more modern at the same time. In this way, they look more automotive trendy and more like a real family and leave a greater signature behind them. Regarding the driveline, no changes have been made and that is not too bad. It just makes us even more curious for the next models that are to come, hopefully with engine and transmission changes too.
