The new Mercedes-Benz S-class offers more comfort and luxury, more technology and better safety levels than its predecessors.

The car is extremely quiet inside, even after the start of the powerful 3.0-liter and 4.0-liter engine variations. Their configurations are inline-six-cylinder and V-8, respectively.

Some of the models have up to five screens

They fill the car from the front to the rear. There is a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster in place of the conventional speedometers and dashboards, and a 12.8-inch display in the middle of the central console.

In the rear, there is now a bit more head- and legroom, as well as electrically adjustable seats which can even perform massages!

On top of that, there are two (optional) 11.6-inch screens mounted on the

front seats and a slightly smaller one on the armrest in the middle.

All of these screens (optionally more than 5) give access to the infotainment system of the new S-class.

The improved version of the MBUX software of the company includes smartphone-like features such as:

- Voice-command

- Facial recognition

- Fingerprint scanning

- Wireless Apple CarPlay and charging

- Burmester 3D sound system as standard, and optional 4D system available as well.

Some of the driver-assistance and safety functionalities of the 2021 S-class are:

- Automatic parking

- Forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking

- Lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist

- Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability

- Rear-seat airbags

- Active suspension lifting the car during a collision

Auto Trendy’s take:

The 2021 Mercedes-Benz is a high-tech luxury vehicle which puts a large focus on the driver and passengers. We, at Auto Trendy, have always been fascinated by Mercedes as a brand and we are even happier in moments like this, where the customer is placed in the center. Thus, we expect this car to beat its other two big and direct competitors: BMW 7-series and Audi A8.
