2021 Tesla Model S Plaid

A re-designed version of the Tesla Model S has been recently announced. It is a face-lift variation and it is called Plaid. The full-electric vehicle has another power train option which is named Long Range. Both versions combine drivetrain and battery technologies to another level of performance, range, and efficiency. Plaid focuses more on the performance, whereas, obviously, the Long Range model concentrates on the range and efficiency.
Today, we will look at the Plaid version, and its performance and interior which are both sensations on their own. As the regular readers might have already noticed, I am an organized numbers guy. So, let’s bullet point these performance specs really quick and stay amazed afterwards:
● P = 1020 horsepower
● 0 – 100 [km/h] = 2.1 seconds
● Top Speed = 322 km/h
● Range (estimated) = 628 km
● 400 meters = 9.23 seconds @ 250 [km/h]

This incredible machine has a renewed interior which is definitely worth looking at. The easiest gadget to notice upon entering the Model S Plaid is the 17-inch Cinematic screen, which has a 2200x1300px resolution, and it can be tinted to the left or to the right.
The steering wheel has no shifting paddles, due to the focus on providing the ultimate driving experience. It looks like it is taken from the cockpit of a fighter jet.
The second row of seats has been redesigned to allow the seating of three adults with some extra legroom and headroom. When two people are in the rear, they can make use of the middle seat’s integrated armrest and wireless charging for smartphones.
Other special features inside the car are:
● Gaming with a wireless controller, same as that of a normal game console, possible from every seat
● Wireless and USB-C charging available for every passenger with enough power for a laptop
● Audio system with 22 speakers
● Large luggage compartment: front and rear trunk + fold-down seats
