Alpha Motor Corporation’s exceptional mobility solutions

Another California-based startup is releasing exciting mobility solutions. Alpha Motor Corporation have been making headlines recently regarding the release of ACE, their electric coupe. This car is impressive with a sleek design and a price tag of $32,000-$39,000, with the following specifications:
The ACE is currently available for reservation and while it is an impressive car to kick off a startup with, it is not the unique mobility solution that is bringing Alpha to the forefront of automotive innovation.
Alpha’s real solution comes with its modular system. Just like many other automotive startups, they use a skateboard-styled chassis. Where they differ is with their car body: it does not need to be a single component in their vehicles. With their other creation, ICON, the owner can convert the vehicle from van to truck to SUV. According to the pictures, it seems that not all components of the body would need changing. This kind of modular system has never been seen before.
Other than bringing this unique solution to the mobility market, Alpha are also tremendously focused on sustainability and build all of their vehicles with a carbon-neutral footprint in their vision.

The Alpha ACE is a unique looking electric passenger car but does not seem to be anything revolutionary. The use of the skateboard-chassis on the ICON is. Although it is not yet available for reservation, this kind of modular mobility solution is amazing and could potentially save a lot of money for people who need such solutions regarding the merging of their business and personal driving requirements. It would be interesting to look back at the ICON and report on some use cases once it is released and available to the public.
