Aurora is already known as the autonomous technology partner of multiple giant OEM’s such as, but not limited to, Toyota, PACCAR, and Volvo. The technology is not yet ready for the market, but such developers are stepping up their game. A perfect example is Aurora’s Lightbox – an autonomy visualization tool that speeds up the testing process by 10x according to Aurora engineers.
Traditionally, companies such as Aurora would use multiple visualization tools – one for each test. Lightbox brings all those tools together into one platform. This platform is also web-based which allows for collaboration.

Innovations are not limited to field testing. In fact, to test such a dynamic and impactful technology, the more virtual testing the better. A platform like Lightbox continues innovative development while maintaining safety on the road.
