Israeli startup Autotalks focuses on making semiconductors for V2X. V2X stands for Vehicle-to-Everything and means that the vehicle is able to communicate with other vehicles and potentially its surroundings. This form of automated communication improves congestion, energy savings, and driving safety.

Autotalks was only founded in 2008, yet has already established relationships with major partners. ZF, Foxconn, and the city of Seoul are just a few. With 4 products, Autotalks has already become a worldwide supplier of this modern technology.

Auto Trendy’s take:

V2X needs to be implemented as soon as possible for autonomous vehicles to be a viable market solution. With this new form of communication, vehicles would be able to respond to their environments not only through vision-sensing cameras, but also through signal-based communication.
