There’s a group of people out there who truly love cycling. They don’t just use their bikes to get to work, but also to travel the world. Aigars Lauzis cycled all the way from London to Tokyo and on this journey, realized that there has to be a better way. A way that limits the inconveniences and retains the purity of cycling.
Lauzis founded BeTRITON, the company that produces a bike-camper-boat hybrid. The vehicle is a trike with a shelter mounted on the back. Furthermore, it can quickly turn into a boat for when crossing bodies of water is the only way to get to the destination. It is also equipped with an electric motor that helps reduce cycling efforts on challenging uphill routes.
Auto Trendy’s take:
BeTRITON is definitely targeting a very niche market. Cycling around the world is not every person’s dream, but there are certainly a lot of people out there who are facing the same issues that Lauzis did. This solution likely enables them to minimize worry due to convenience, and maximize their enjoyment of the beauty of the journey.
