No doors, no windows, no infotainment system. The electric Manifesto is a concept car for true adventurers. Unlike the Jeep Wrangler, where those are removable, Manifesto does not have them at all. Nevertheless, it is only a concept and unlikely to go into serial production.
Headlights or flashlight?
An interesting detail: the Manifesto has only one headlight, and it can be carried outside the car as a lantern. For example, at the campsite. Its battery can also be used as a source of current.
Always have a sleeping bag
Since the Manifesto is not protected from rain, mud and bad weather conditions, the entire interior is washable. The seat covers are also removable and can be used as sleeping bags. In order for the interior space to be resistant to water and mud, Dacia has given up on the infotainment system. You can use your phone as navigation – there is an installed stand. The dashboard is made of cork and the body is made of recycled plastic.
The electric buggy is Dacia's manifesto
And why "Manifesto"? The name hardly suggests that in the future Dacia will release only off-road buggies and wants to use the buggy as a manifesto. However, the manufacturer indicates that the Manifesto will give us an idea of the new direction of the electric portfolio of the brand.
Auto Trendy’s take:
Then Manifesto buggy is quite an unusual vehicle to come out of a Dacia factory. And that does not mean it will not be a good vehicle to have fun with. It just makes us think that Dacia, judging by the design of the buggy, might want to maintain an image that is competitive with the premium electric vehicles in the market. “Will that turn out to be the case?” remains an open question.
