ELEO brings unique battery solution to the market

Some startups’ inceptions come from the success of university student teams. ELEO is one of those. In 2017, the Dutch company was founded following the success of the Technical University of Eindhoven’ student team SPIKE. SPIKE built a completely electric motorcycle from scratch and rode it around the world in 80 days.
The spin-off, ELEO, is focused solely on developing batteries. Its unique solution to the market is modular batteries. These batteries allow users for flexibility regarding size, voltage, and range. ELEO’s innovative battery has already been used in a fully-electric railroad excavator that was developed by AMT Group.
