In August, drones will be tested on the Gullfaks field in Norway between Equinor’s facilities. The company’s head of Joint Operations Center has stated that drones are the next chapter in Equinor’s evolution. Nordic Unmanned will be providing the drones for this operation.

Although we haven’t previously written about Equinor, its energy transition efforts would have been enough reason to. The transition is already setting to greatly affect the automotive industry and its decarbonization. Now, Equinor is evolving its mobility as well by utilizing innovative technology to automate its logistics processes. It also gives fantastic attention to Nordic Unmanned as the main partner in this feat.
