FIAT has accelerated its electrification strategy to a more sustainable future and now has a full range of electrified models in Europe. From 2024, all new models of the Italian brand will be electric, and in 2027 FIAT will become fully electric in Europe.

FIAT wishes a “Happy Birthday” to its iconic FIAT 500 with two new stories that hilariously demonstrate how the new electric FIAT 500e is truly a game-changer. The EVERGREEN and THE STICK videos feature activist and Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio, who has been the green ambassador for the FIAT 500e since its launch. It demonstrates how carefree and joyful electric driving can be with care for the planet, and that there is only one car in the world capable of turning duty into a pleasure – the new electric FIAT 500e.

Auto Trendy’s take:

Despite the ongoing energy crisis in Europe and worldwide, we can still see car makers striving to stick to the Green Deal. Only a few days after Citroën announced an “only electric” plan for the ë-C4 X in the short-term future, Fiat does the same for its 500e. The big question remains: will this persist in being the long-term plan for the future of vehicles, or are we going to see any show-stopping obstacles on the way?
