As good as it looked in the concept version we have shown you before, the production version of the new fully electric Audi feeds the eye in an even fuller way. To gain your trust in those words, please, look at some more angles of this beautifully crafted machine.
The vehicle will be open for orders starting from May this year, with prices starting from €130,000. It has been designed to go into direct competition with the Tesla Model S and Porsche Taycan. The look is not the only great thing about the new RS e-tron GT.
Performance is another one. The powertrain of the Audi RS e-tron GT consists of three electric motors – one on the front axle and one on each of the rear wheels. The total output of the system is as follows:
The automobile’s launch control is capable of increasing the power to 646 horsepower for short periods of time. The standard version of the e-tron GT has a total electric range of 475 km, whereas the RS version, due to the higher power output, drops down to 450 km.
Auto Trendy’s take:
The Audi RS e-tron GT has been a very ambitious idea of becoming one of the manufacturer’s best vehicles since its concept version. Congratulations to Audi for sticking to their futuristic vision and for delivering such an amazing vehicle. Reaching such a benchmark should be a reason for feelings of pride for any automotive company. We, at Auto Trendy, will stay curious and tuned in to see whether this car will take Audi to another level as a company, and as a brand.
