Zehijang Geely Holding Group, or Geely for short, has recently made headlines again. Only two a few weeks ago, Auto Trendy reported on their on their partnership with Baidu. Now they have partnered with the more well-known American manufacturer, Faraday Future. Geely has been acquiring big names in the automotive industry and hold household name companies such as Volvo, Lotus, and Smart.

The partnership will result in Geely providing the manufacturing of Faraday Future’s cars in China and will have Faraday Future join the growing Geely umbrella. There are no further details regarding the partnership agreement at this time other than the fact that one of Geely’s subsidiary companies, Foxconn, will also be involved in the agreement.

Auto Trendy’s take:

This partnership seems to be great news for both parties. Geely are slowly taking over the automotive industry by partnering with an increasing amount of large automotive manufacturers and are now providing support to some smaller ones. Faraday Future will now have the support that they need to be successful in the cutthroat competition of the automotive industry. It would be interesting to see how much Geely can help and if Faraday Future will soon become a household name.
