GTR – this letter combination is always something very extreme – it stands for Gran Turismo Racing. Manhart also often use it for their creations. One of them is the MH4 GTR II. The basis for the modification is the special model BMW M4 CSL, limited to 1,000 copies. The stock CSL has 550 hp, and thanks to the optional MHtronik Powerbox, the folks at Manhart have given the S58 3-liter inline-six biturbo unit a solid 702 hp. and 880 Nm.
They also add 110mm tailpipes to the Manhart stainless steel exhaust system. Naturally, in line with the increased power, the Manhart tuning specialists also offer an optional brake system upgrade. In terms of looks, the MH4 GTR has lowered suspension and adjustable springs from the H&R specialists.
The wheels are Forged+ 1 by Yido Performance – 20-inch with tires of size 275/30 in front and 295/30 in the back, and their colour can be chosen freely. The Manhart carbon body kit consists of 18 parts and includes a front hood with GTR openings, new spoilers, side skirts, a diffuser and more.
The interior has been upgraded by Manhart with floor mats and 4-point racing seat belts, as well as a roll cage.
Auto Trendy’s take:
We, at Auto Trendy, have always admired the great works of MANHART Performance on some BMW models such as MH3 650 Touring and MHX7. They turn stock beasts into pieces of tunning art and their portfolio goes far beyond the German brand from Munich. To list a few, there are great MANHART editions on Audi, Mercedes, Alfa Romeo, Bentley and more. Needless to say, they all look out of this world, and you can see for yourself here.
