Portuguese Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) manufacturer, TUGBOT, has officially partnered up with NODE Robotics. NODE, based in Stuttgart, creates software solutions that turn automated guided vehicles into autonomous mobile robots.
According to TUGBOT, NODE already has proven industrial readiness, which was key in deciding on which software partner to go with. Both companies will bring their technologies together to build even better AMR’s that will have further reduced costs of ownership.
Auto Trendy’s take:
TUGBOT’s AMR already sounded impressive before the NODE partnership. Now, the integrated benefits of NODE will help make the AMR more efficient which will help further reduce the costs of ownership while increasing the robot’s reliability.
