Raptee Energy building affordable electric motorbikes

Indian startup Raptee Energy is working on bringing affordable electric motorcycles to the market. The company is currently developing its first bike. This bike has multiple advanced solutions such as but not limited to mobile phone control, biometric assist, and a “find my bike” feature. Its full specs are not yet known but the ones that are can be seen below:
Raptee Energy recently raised $700,000 in funding for the manufacturing of its unique motorcycle. The bike is designed in California and will be manufactured in Chennai, India.
Auto Trendy’s take:
If electric vehicles are the future then motorcycles definitely need an upgrade in this direction. Raptee Energy is tackling a real issue which is the price of these bikes. Why pay even more money for a bike that does not perform as well as a petrol one? Well, hopefully once Raptee Energy starts the distribution of the bikes we’ll be able to see how well the company has been able to tackle this issue.
