Every once in a while the worlds of fashion and cars collide. When discussing the two together, usually Lewis Hamilton comes to mind, however, he is not the point of discussion today. Retro is back in fashion and Renault is capitalizing on it with its newly announced car – the Renault 4ever.

The car will be released in 2025 and has been named 4ever for two reasons. Primarily, it is designed to look like the classic Renault 4 (also known as the R4) that was first released 1961. Secondly, Renault has stated that the 4ever is designed to become an instant classic. It will be electric and released as part of a €10 billion investment that Renault plans on investing in electrification during the coming five years. Although the specifications are not yet released, the 4ever is said to have a driving range of 250 miles (~400 km) and have a starting price lower than €30,000.

Auto Trendy’s take:

Of course, everyone who has been following Auto Trendy knows the value of investing in electrification and can say that this is an intelligent move by Renault. Another smart decision is capitalizing on bringing the classic cars back to life with modern design twists. This will help Renault capture the attention of older generations who feel nostalgic towards the classics as well as the younger demographic who want new and modern designed cars.
