RWE and Siemens Gamesa to produce 1,000 MW of offshore wind energy

RWE is a German energy company. With its transition to green energy, the company has already been investing in renewable technologies such as hydrogen electrolysers. It is now looking to produce 1,000 MW of energy through offshore wind farms.

Siemens Gamesa is a daughter company of Siemens and has over 30 years of offshore energy production. With this experience, Siemens Gamesa has been selected by RWE to produce its energy. The production will utilize 72 units of Siemens Gamesa’s turbines.
