Israeli company Driivz has been developing automotive solutions since 1986. One of the more recent solutions is its EV smart energy charging platform. This platform helps intelligently manage the energy usage of EV chargers and get the most efficient charging based on grid and fleet requirements.
Shell, the energy giant, has announced a partnership with Driivz. The pair are already operating the smart energy charging platform in over 10 countries across Europe. With Shell’s energy transition, the goal is to operate 2.5 million charge points by 2030 and the company is expecting that this partnership will help get it there.
Auto Trendy’s take:
This partnership should help Shell make its chargers more economical in terms of energy consumption. The result would ideally be better energy costs both for Shell and for its customers. With Shell going strong into its energy transition, such a partnership could really help reach its goals.
