Customize any part of the powertrain, be it the amount of batteries, motors, inverter, or even the gearbox mounting. Electric vehicle manufacturer, Faraday Future, has developed a modular powertrain system that enables its users to have a tailor-made powertrain and custom driving experience.

Their newest development is a modular propulsion system. Using their knowledge of automotive electronics, they were able to innovate a system that enables each user to have their own unique motor settings. There are three modularity options on the motor itself, although when connecting it to the modularity abilities of Faraday Future’s battery strings, the optimization options can be done in any number of ways.

As an extra step to increase the tailored experience, Faraday Future has created an automotive environment that integrates AI, internet, and clean energy. The result is a user experience that is unique to each driver.

An automotive market trend that is not spoken of as frequently is personalization. Faraday Future are enabling their cars’ users to each have a completely unique and personalized experience. To do so in the interior does not seem like a major development, however the flexibility available with the powertrain is an innovation that came as a welcomed surprise.
