Solaris is a Polish manufacturer that produces electric buses. With more than 20,000 of the company’s buses already on the road, Solaris has already started leaving a serious mark on the market. One of the buses is called the "MetroStyle."

The MetroStyle has a bi-articulated design – meaning that it has two accordion-style pivot points. Such a system allows the bus to be longer, thus capable of holding more passengers, while still being able to fit within city roads. An order has recently been placed by Tide Bus Danmark with the goal of having 14 of the bi-articulated buses driving around Aalborg, Denmark.

Auto Trendy’s take:

With Solaris already having its buses in multiple countries, it is no surprise that the demand keeps growing. The world is very obviously moving into a more sustainable mobility infrastructure and Solaris has already proven its buses’ reliability over the decade and a half of the company’s existence. This order is not surprising, but it shows that Solaris is continuing to grow in the right direction.
